Arbiter Selection

Users have an economic interest in serving as arbiters in GotchaInsure: collecting the arbitration fee that every arbiter gets for his work, thus they can self-select to serve as arbiter using their BINGO tokens.

The probability of being drawn as an arbiter for a specific dispute is proportional to the amount of BINGP (Bingo Power) a user holds, plus his reputation as an arbiter, pulled from the GotchaRep protocol. This prevents inactive users from being selected.

After users deposit their tokens, the final selection of arbiters is done randomly. The reputation of the user as as an arbiter determines the weight of his vote in the dispute and the amount of tokens he will receive during the arbitration fee distribution.
